This post is not about music, but about water polo. And it is also my debut in sport photography. It was a pleasure to photograph the women’s water polo team Wasserfreunde Spandau 04 e.V. , the team of my swimming & water polo club, who played and won the final of the German league against the SV Blau-Weiß Bochum team. Besides, the match took place in the Club’s facilities, in the Olympiapark in Berlin, one of my favorite places in Berlin. And I am very happy about the shots as well as about the team’s victory.
Of course at a match I am also not neutral like at a concert. As a hobby photographer I shoot only the events I like, where I really enjoy shooting. With my favorite bands or my favorite teams.
I have to say that I have loved photographing the movement of the players, the splashing water, the reflections of the sun on the water. Beautiful!
